Live from UIC

Beautiful field...no shade for the fans.

The team has buzzed their heads. I will try to get some shots--there is no good place to take pictures here that is not through a fence.

We are underway and are the visitors. Pitching for Marquette at his soon-to-be college: Collin Weyer.

Grad bunts and is safe on an error, bases loaded. Flip scores on a wild pitch to tie it up. Top of 5th: Grad doubles on a blooper over the 1st baseman's head. Peterson singles to take him to third. Peterson steals second. Potter reaches first on a fielder's choice--throw to home unsuccessful and Grad scores.

6-2 aft 4 1/2. Now on the mound for Marq: Gino D'Amato.

------------------------------------------------
Mahler singles on a nice hit to left center. Monfre hits one deep to center that bounces over the fence for a ground rule double. Karhoff walks to load the bases with no outs...pitching change for De la Salle.

Beauty Tip Time Out: (I am sitting with the Moms!). Coconut oil--(Sendiks olive oil section). Rub around eyes and mouth to reduce wrinkles. Put a tablespoon in water and drink for more good skin affects. Getting night cramps in legs and feet? Could be dehydration or potassium deficiency--if you don't like bananas--put cinnamon and sugar on them.

And now back to our regularly scheduled game in progress.

Lots of high pop ups--

Still 6-2 aft 5 1/2.

6-2 aft 6.
-------------------------------------------------------
Top of 7: Drees triples with a shot over the center fielder's head. Potter scores Drees on a single to right. 7-2.

Game Over 9-2 Marq.
