Live from Parent/Senior Day

On the mound for Marq: Robert Gregory. This is Robert's last game in uniform for Marquette. He is soon to be in a very different kind of uniform as he begins his journey to become a police officer and starts at the academy next week. We will miss Robert but wish him well in his noble chosen profession!

Great parent recognition with lots of tears from the senior's moms especially--and I detected a few from the Dad's under their strategically placed sunglasses. Coach Wilk emphasized that this DOES NOT mean the season is over: "Lots of baseball left to play." See slide show at left.
-----------------------------------------------------
1-0 Kewaskum aft 1.

Flip walks and Peterson singles to right.
-----------------------------------------------------
2-0 Kewaskum aft 2.

Gregory singles to left.
----------------------------------------------------
Still 2-0 aft 3.

Karhoff singles and Coon hits a sacrifice to move him to 2nd.

My car has a nice round "baseball shaped" surprise in my windshield on a one-bouncer to the parking lot from a foul ball by Gregory...Way to say good-bye Robert! :-) Anyone know the number to Glass Doctors? No one's fault but my own--I thought I was safe behind the corvettes!
----------------------------------------------------
3-0 Kewaskum aft 5. Sorry, I was distracted trying to find a windshield replacement company!
----------------------------------------------------
3-1 aft 6.

McShane scores on a Peterson sac, Tangney singles to center with Potter pinch running.

----------------------------------------------------
On the mound for Marq: Jason Bonfiglio. He makes all three outs in the top of the 7th including 2 strike outs.

Final 3-1 Kewaskum.
---------------------------------------------------
Good Luck Robert!
