Many thanks for all the fun conversation, beauty tips, refreshments, and camaraderie in Chicago...if only we had rented a limo (right, Shirley?).

Beautiful field...no shade for the fans.

The team has buzzed their heads. I will try to get some shots--there is no good place to take pictures here that is not through a fence.

Beauty Tip Time Out: (I am sitting with the Moms!). Coconut oil--(Sendiks olive oil section). Rub around eyes and mouth to reduce wrinkles. Put a tablespoon in water and drink for more good skin affects. Getting night cramps in legs and feet? Could be dehydration or potassium deficiency--if you don't like bananas--put cinnamon and sugar on them.

And now back to our regularly scheduled game in progress.

Lots of high pop ups--

Still 6-2 aft 5 1/2.

6-2 aft 6.
-------------------------------------------------------
Top of 7: Drees triples with a shot over the center fielder's head. Potter scores Drees on a single to right. 7-2.

Great Update on Chicago Directions Etc.

Dean Weyer sent the following message: (Thanks Dean!)

Maripat,

A few words of wisdom about the directions and the area for our families: The address you have listed (901 W. Roosevelt) is to the north entrance to the physical education building.  On the north side of that street is a university parking lot.  I dont know if they charge for Saturday parking.  You would enter that lot on Morgan street.  If they follow your mapquest directions there is a baseball field that you'll see aside of that parking lot on the north side of Roosevelt.  That is NOT the field we play on.  The UIC varsity field is on the other/south side of the PE building.  Also, there are restaurants, coffee shops, sports bars on Halsted just east of the ballpark.  I would suggest folks look at the following google maps link:

Great DP to start the 6th with Bolles diving to catch one in front of the mound and firing to 1st to also get the runner. Didn't he just hit a triple? He is Bolle-ing us over tonight! Oh, and I wrote that before Willy made the 3rd out of the inning. Do I smell a Bolles highlight reel?
